Job Description

As Global Product Lead Genetics, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy for the genetic product portfolio within CRV. You will identify opportunities based on market trends, technology, and innovation, ensuring that our portfolio aligns seamlessly with customer needs. In this capacity, you will also be accountable for the commercial success within this product category.

As a key expert on international breeding programs, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our genetic products. This position requires hands-on work, leadership, and coordination, as you collaborate closely with Product Development, R&D, and Sales to develop, position, and promote our products in a dynamic, competitive market.

What will you do?

As the Global Product Lead Genetics, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the Global Product Management Genetics team, fostering a safe and motivating work environment and reporting to the Global Director Marketing. You will ensure international alignment within marketing teams, maintaining consistency across markets, regions, and product lines. Working closely with Product Development, R&D, and Sales, you will create a global product strategy for genetics products,  and manage the entire product lifecycle – from development to market introduction. You are responsible for the concepts to sell our portfolio such as FeedExcel, Sexed Semen and Beef on dairy.

You will translate customer needs and technological innovations into high-quality products, strengthening CRV’s market leadership through targeted positioning strategies. Staying current on the latest trends and technologies in genetics, you’ll ensure that all products comply with international regulations. Additionally, you will support the organization by providing training and guidance on product management, and you will develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve CRV’s commercial goals.

What do you bring?

  • A master degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in B2B marketing, sales, and product management.
  • Genetics experience in genomics, breeding values, and global breeding programs. Preference for experience in bovine genetics and/or related field.
  • Proven track record as a people manager and coach, with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, with additional languages preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, with strong conceptual and analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
